Think twice!!! I was excited to attend our initial group class after my first dog finished his 9 day in-house training program. I struggled all the way through class without anyone helping instruct me. As I was leaving a staff member offered a suggestion... would have been helpful during class. I asked for help with distractions on the walking path. The suggestion made by the trainer was to exhaust my dog with activity before we went on walks so he wouldn't be distracted. Really?! Next time I'll I run the dog behind the car before we walk... NOT! It's my impression that unless you have experience with dog training, this isn't the place for you. I expressed the fact that I'm a first time dog owner to staff, that was the reason I reached out for help training my dog. I had call requesting a callback, I never received a voicemail or email to fallow up till months later. When I did actually talk to someone, they informed me that the group classes are only a fallow up to show what your dog has learned from the 9 day training and at home... my mistake. I was under the impression that the group classes were continued training. They taught my dog to walk on a leash, that's it! That's what I get for paying $2400 cash in advance. Thank goodness for other training options with real professionals.
