Sit Means Sit Dog Training - Cecil County Maryland and Delaware

I have had dogs most of my life, and I decided with Toro it was time to invest in training so we could enjoy our time together even more. My only regret is that I didn't know about Sit Means Sit for my previous dogs. Toro is a rescue who loves his walks, but early on (around 5 months), his pulling was making those walks less and less fun. Working with Heather, Hailey, Alexis, and Kasey not only made training fun, but it also made consistent reinforcement easy. It's reassuring to know we now have access to group training, daycare, and even a spa for Toro's nails and grooming. We couldn't be happier—Toro has become a wonderful, predictable addition to our family.

We are so thankful for Sit Means Sit and everything Alexis and Hailey have done for Ruger! When he started, he was pulling on the leash, counter-surfing, jumping on people at the door, and struggling to listen to basic commands. By the second week, something just clicked! He was listening, walking so much better on the leash, and sitting calmly when people came through the door. We’ve seen such a huge difference in him and couldn’t be happier with his progress. Alexis and Hailey were so patient and wonderful with Ruger, and we’re so grateful for them. We’re excited to continue working with them in group training!

We had Aries complete the 4-week training program with Kasey, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Kasey was incredibly hands-on throughout the entire process and worked so well with Aries, especially considering his history of growling and biting. Since completing the weekly training sessions, we have noticed a significant and positive difference in his demeanor and overall behavior. We are so grateful for the time, patience, and expertise Kasey provided!

Hailey was incredible- beyond words to our Gus. She was so sweet and gentle and most of all patient with Gus. She checked in with us weekly when we were working with him at home and answered any questions and addressed any concerns we had! Sit Means Sit is well worth the price and commitment. It was amazing to see the progress he would make each week. We watched him transform into a more confident dog! We wanted to focus on taking him places and not have to worry about him getting too excited and go crazy! We also wanted to work on barking/mouthiness, separation anxiety and leash pulling on walks. All of these are 100% improved! We are so excited to continue our journey with Sit Means Sit with the group classes. We will absolutely do it all over again with any new fur baby additions to our family!
