I have a mature dog that has been reactive to other dogs for years, and after two failed attempts to get his reactivity under control I decided to give it one last try. The Staff at Sit Means Sit have done a great job training and reinforcing the training, including working on the items that I provide feedback on each week. I am very happy and, frankly surprised, at the progress that has been made in a short time! I definitely would recommend their training service for stubborn breeds!

Our Sophie was a rescue and is 3 years old. When we got her 9 months ago, she was very shy and scared of everything and everyone. We initially brought her in for the "bring in once a week for 3 weeks" session. But I decided that it would be better for her to get the intensive full week training. I have taken German Shepard dogs through a different type of harsher training, so this was all new to me. They provided a pic everyday of her and explained what she had been doing. I'm still trying to grasp these commands in my head, and am not used to using the shock buttons, so I would say that I AM THE ONE THAT NEEDS THE TRAINING! But overall, I would certainly say that Sophie is quite a bit better than she was, and does very well with her commands (when I remember them!) when we are out walking. It will just take me some time to get it through my head how this works, because it appears that it does work when I give the right command.

Brenna and Lawren were wonderful trainers for my shy, submissive 18 month old dog that I adopted. They made me realize how important consistency is in training my dog as well.

Sit Means Sit did an awesome job with Rocket, our 9 month old Golden Retriever. He is very energetic, and I had trouble training him. After a week of Board and Train he obeys commands, and without a fenced yard, stays closer and returns when called.
The crew that worked with him kept me informed and sent photos every day.
Highly recommend them to help with your dog.

Brenna was so good with our puppy! She helped give us the tools we needed to train him and helped us build confidence. He learned so much in just the 3 day trains he did. Now, we can take little Schroeder on all of our fun adventures!
