Where do your training lessons take place?
One of our biggest training philosophies is tackling any training issue at the root of the problem, which is usually away from the home under distracting environments. That being said, we encourage both private and group training sessions at our facility or in a public setting that we refer to as “field trips”! how long does it take to see results in your dog?
Hi Daryl, every dog is different when it comes to previous knowledge and behaviors prior to training with us, but many of our clients will see improvements in their dog after the very first lesson! Do you offer off-leash training?
Yes, we do! Depending on your dog's current skill level, we will usually begin with on-leash training around distractions until you feel confident in your dog’s recall training. One of our dogs has been aggressive towards other dogs and was hard to control. We took him here and did their intensive 10 board and train program. Afterwards he has been much better and easier to manage. They offer group classes as a follow-up system that we happily use for additional support.
Very supportive team. They are responsive to any questions and have made a marked improvement in my pups ability to feel comfortable around people and other dogs.

First off, we did our research and found this Sit means Sit franchise comes highly rated. Lilly had a great first day training with Jean. After her first day with the trainer, when I came for pickup, it was my time for some coaching. I quickly realized working with Lilly and Jean that I had let behaviors go on too long. However, by the time we left I was fully confident, that with time and effort we would see tremendous results. It was when Lilly and I actually got home that I saw a change for the good. I could see Lilly actually had respect for me. I wasn't the pushover Mom anymore. Lilly looks at me for directions instead of just blowing me off. Yippee 😁
I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but this place is great! All of the trainers are really AMAZING and clearly love dogs! Very happy with our decision to trust Sit Means Sit with Snowy!
