Sit Means Sit Dog Training

This place’s methods badly worsened my dog’s anxiety and likely caused new issues with aggression toward other dogs. These issues got much worse with time and only resolved under months of guidance from an animal behaviorist. Sit Means Sit’s training seemed to produce results at first, but at what cost? During the consultation, we made our dog’s issues clear and asked whether there were certain dogs for whom this training would be inappropriate. They assured us that it was fine for him. It was not. Save your money and your dog and find a trainer that uses a more humane approach.

I couldn’t say more good things about this place. We came to them so hesitant about e collar training due to a bad experience with another training facility and our dog was so scared of the collar. They are so much more accommodating, they incorporate body cues, verbal cues, treats, and all into using the collar not just smashing buttons and scaring the dog. My dog’s confidence has skyrocketed and she is able to do so many more things than before. We are so grateful!!

If I could give this place a 10 stars I would. My boy Teddy did the Board and Train and I was really nervous to leave him because I've never been away from him more than 3 days. He needed the training and a friend recommended Sit Means Sit to me. The entire staff is amazing! Angelica, Cassidy and my boys trainer, Josh! Everyone is super professional and VERY friendly. I am so grateful for everyone who cared for my boy. He is a like a new dog, I cannot believe it. The report cards were so comforting and I am beyond overjoyed with his training. This is the place for your dog if they need training/boarding.
