I am told this place trains with shock collar on all its dogs, even before the dog learns commands. Is this true?

Call it what you like but the modern tech and modern, attention-based approach is very different than a past mindset of “shock collar” or training. More trainers and people are exploring and using collars now than ever because of the advancement and evolution. They don't call it a shock collar since they use it for "positive reinforcement", but yes. It's definitely a shock collar. They will also recommend your dog to wear it at all times.

What types of dogs do you train and when?
We train any dog, any age, any problem! We'll start puppies as early as 8-10 weeks and grow them for life; we've had 12 year old dogs come for training too! And we purposely located outside of Denver so we don't have breed restrictions.

What is the cost of the services?
It depends on the dog and specific needs! They will give you a free consultation where they meet you and the dog! My dog did one week boarding. Total was $1850.

How can I get a replacement controller?
Laura, I'm presuming you have our Sit Means Sit collar which also has a lifetime warranty! So, if the controller is not functioning, the manufacturer will repair or replace. If you've lost it call our office and we can coordinate getting you a new one. Numbers are listed in Google profile. Anthony

This is our second time using Sit Means Sit Dog Training Services. After our "Tebow" walked over the rainbow bridge Beau and Peyton joined our family. Without question, we returned to Sit Means Sit for training and fortunately with the same owner, Anthony, and instructor Ed. The "boys" advanced to weekly group classes and because of the training, and increased confidence, having them neutered simultaneously was non-stressful. No cones during their two-week recovery time. Instead, my husband and I used the training skills we learned in group and individual sessions. We highly recommend using Sit Means Sit Dog Training Services with Anthony and Ed!

Anthony and his staff have been extremely helpful in training our highly “emotional” 2 year old female shepherd mix. We have a great deal more work (and so does our pup) but Anthony has given us encouragement and ongoing advice that makes us hopeful for harmonious walks and other activities. We just recently joined their multiple dog class and this is acclimating our reactive dog to learn acceptable behavior towards others. I am so glad we started training with Sit Means Sit and highly encourage it to those who have been struggling like we have been.
Every person we have worked with has just been amazing. We did the week long board and train and the difference in our dog is just amazing. I am not sure what magic this crew has, but it is true magic. They have been training us humans incredibly well too 🤣
