Sit Happens Dog Training Center

I've been taking my puppy to Sit Happens since he was 9 weeks old for Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Playschool (daycare). The trainers are highly experienced, certified, and are wonderful teachers. Puppy Kindergarten is such an incredible resource - puppies who are not fully vaccinated are able to socialize and train in a safe environment with a variety of different puppies, people, sights, and smells. Puppies play for the first 30 minutes, then you train with your puppy for the next 30 minutes. They provide you with a great foundation for training your new puppy the basic skills they need to learn. I've been sending my pup to daycare 2x/week and it is THE BEST money I've spent on him so far. After playing and training all day, he comes home happy and ready for a long nap. I have time and space to actually get work done while he's gone. At pickup, Emma gives a thorough breakdown of the day and what they worked on. We noticed huge improvements in his ability to settle in his crate, a reduction in demand barking, and much more patience/frustration tolerance. Emma did a lot of firework desensitization leading up to July 4th, and it paid off immensely (he slept through the fireworks with no problem). If you have a new puppy or are getting one in the near future, do yourself (and your puppy) a favor and go to Sit Happens.
