Vitoria is truly the best! We highly recommend Sit Happens! We were so lucky to find Vitoria on short notice when we needed help with our 4-month-old Lab mix, Maya, so we can leave for our trip worry free. Vitoria went above and beyond from the very beginning—she was kind enough to drive nearly an hour for a meet and greet, and she stayed extra time to walk us through helpful training techniques before the board and train even started. Maya spent two weeks with Vitoria for a board and train, which were very reasonably priced, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Vitoria sent us daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to see Maya’s incredible progress. One of the highlights was Calisto, Vitoria’s 7 month old lab, who acted as both a teaching assistant and a playmate for Maya. It was clear that Maya was not only learning but also having a great time. During her stay, Maya was also get to socialize with many other dogs that came in for daycare or just group play. It has helped to boost her confidence around stranger dogs. After just two weeks, Maya came back a completely transformed pup—better behaved, more confident, and a joy to be around. We reached out to Sit Happens in summer 2024 for help with training before adding another dog (or two!) to our crew—which already included two dogs and five cats. Since then, we’ve used pretty much all their services: boarding, board-and-train, walks, in-home training, and daycare. They've been amazing every step of the way. We have worked with both Vitoria and Andy, although Vitoria has taken the lead with our dogs over the last year. Vitoria and Andy are both super calm, patient, and supportive—not just with the dogs, but with us as dog parents too. They really listened to what we wanted (less chaos when people come over, everyone knowing their “place,” leaving the cats alone, better leash manners, etc.), and we’ve actually hit all of those goals. Vitoria really helped us understand what was actually going on with our dogs—not just what we thought was happening. That led to some big breakthroughs, even with the dogs that weren’t in training, and our whole household feels way more peaceful now. Plus, our four dogs absolutely love them! We all highly recommend Vitoria and Andy at Sit Happens!

I am beyond impressed with Vitoria! She made the process of training our 2 year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon seem effortless. She was able to provide clear and concise directions throughout our training session to ensure a successful walk outside. We are so happy with the guidance we were given to train our dog.
