UPDATE 10/27/25: I continue to highly recommend Karen and Paul! I spent the last year battling stage 3 breast cancer and having obedient, well- mannered pups made the hard days of chemotherapy alot easier. Some people asked if I was going to board the pups when I had surgery and my answer was no way….there’s no reason to. My pups are obedient and follow commands so I didn’t have to worry about them jumping on me or hurting me during recovery. I’m so grateful for the training at Simplistic because I was able to enjoy my pups while fighting cancer! Now that I’m cancer free I can truly say “Dogs are the best medicine!” 💗💗💗 I highly recommend Karen and Paul. Each of my furbabies goes through basic obedience training at Simplistic Dog Training and it's a lifetime investment. Training is the best investment you can make for a happy, lifelong relationship with your dog! There is nothing better than being able to enjoy life with my 3 dogs who are obedient, well-mannered, and can travel on adventures, visit stores, restaurants and go for walks in our neighborhood together. Through the training you build a shared language and expectation with your pup. An obedient pup is a happy pup and thanks to the training and expertise of Karen and Paul I am able to enjoy beautiful photos of my crew such as my profile pic. People often comment, "how do you get 3 dogs to sit and pose for a photo like that?".....and my response is always basic obedience at Simplistic Dog Training! 🐾👍

I can’t say enough good things about Paul and Karen. They were recommended to me by a friend who has used them for years. My only regret is that we didn’t start sooner! The reason I sought out help was because my 1 year old Great Dane had become aggressive towards other dogs and attacked my chihuahuas. She would bark like a lunatic and pull me. I was afraid to have her out in public since she is so big (she weighs 20 lbs less than me!), and I was also mortified when she acted that way! We went to Three Dog Bakery every weekend and she got worse and worse! Having brought home another great dane puppy right before she had attacked my chihuahuas, I was concerned that the two giant dogs would get into a fight and someone would get seriously injured. I started the training with both my dogs and Paul and Karen really worked with us to fix what was going on with my older dog. Paul went out of his way to meet us at Kirby park in a million degree weather to assess my dog’s behavior around other animals and correct it. I set out with the hope that I would at least be able to take Maddie out in public. Never in a million years did I expect her to be playing with other dogs at boot camp! I was ecstatic when they sent me the pictures and videos! We love the group classes too because it gives me a chance to work with my dogs on their obedience with distractions. Now, I can confidently take both my dogs out in public with no worries that either of them will pull me down or attack another dog. The owner at Three Dog Bakery, who saw Maddie’s progression towards aggression, can’t believe it’s the same dog! I even took them both to bark in the water park and they did amazing! Maddie and Maze both also won most obedient dogs at a local “cops and canines” event 🤣 2 thumbs up!!! Can’t recommend enough!!! If you’re on the fence, DO IT! It’s money and time well spent!!!
