FirstBarkIt is set up well and the staff was knowledgeable. Don't recommend for old dogs but then old dogs are very tricky and get stressed out easily. Prices are better than just about anywhere around Fredericksburg.

I've been taking my malinois there for a few years and they have always been great accomodating her anxiety. I would email Raymond and explain all of your pups needs and I am pretty sure he would be able to accommodate.

I have taken my lab there for several years, he is going to be 12. I have never had any issues, but please give them a call and I am sure they can answer any questions and alleviate any concerns you may have.

There is no where else we will leave our dogs from now on! The staff is so knowledgeable and you can tell they genuinely care for the dogs there. They have plenty of space for the dogs to play and run around and both of our babies always return to us happy and exhausted. We had several bad experiences at other kennels before we found Silverbrook and I am so glad we found them when we did!
Excellent dog training! Highly recommended!
Only bad side to this place is the chemicals they use to clean can be harsh on the paws. Otherwise our dogs love this place! We take them for short stays of no more than 5 days and sign them up for the day care while there! They come back so tired! They’re always happy leaving!
Sent my pup here for obedience school. The staff was excellent, my trainer kept me utd on all progress almost daily. My pup went from a wild 6mth old to a well mannered (for the most part) dog. Even after the training my trainer has checked in to see how things are going. Just an observation but seems like the few negative reviews are probably more about the dog than this kennel. Some dogs wont eat/drink well when left in a strange place.
