I’ve been extremely lucky to know and learn from Daniel for the past few years. It’s hard to put into words how much I have gained from his mentorship. He has the depth of understanding that only comes from years of actually doing the work. He’s authentic, very candid, and always professional. His approach focuses on clarity, and consistency and he embodies that fully, not only in his care for the dogs, but in everything he does. Anyone would be lucky to have him in their corner. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing- he’s the real deal.

As a dog trainer myself, Danny is the kind of mentor you find once in a lifetime. He’s compassionate and understanding - but also does not play around when it comes to training dogs! He’s upfront and honest with his abilities and if he’d be a good fit for you. As a leader, he is always striving to learn and continue educating himself - which is exactly what I want from a mentor and I didn’t have until I found Danny and Signature K9! He not only taught me a lot about my dog, he taught me a lot about myself. If there’s a mentorship program that’s WORTH the investment and time - It’s this one.

Signature k9 was my first real dog training job. Daniel is an excellent mentor. The skills and knowledge he gives you are invaluable. If you want to become a dog trainer, do not think you can learn it all by doing online modules. Hands on learning is what will take you the farthest. I came to Daniel as a 20 year old eager to learn. He set me up for the rest of my dog training career. This year will mark 5 years in this industry and I can honestly say I would not be even half the trainer I am today without this experience. Not only did he teach me how to handle dogs, but I also learned how to navigate the industry, decide what clients I work best with, and what my morals as a trainer are. There are so many more lessons you learn as an apprentice than just the dog training ones. Make sure you're getting them from someone as competent, passionate, and knowledgeable as Daniel!

Daniel is amazing!! I have a doberman Nova who is reactive and I needed a lot of help with her. Daniel has helped me so much! I have been to another trainer before and what Daniel has taught me is so different. The way he is able to see the dog's body language, explain it to me, and react to it properly is crazy! He is very thorough and makes sure you understand what's going on before moving on. I have seen such a difference in Nova and her behavior even just after the first week, it's like two completely different dogs. Daniel is someone I would recommend to anyone struggling with their dog and I will never use anyone else for my future dogs.
