Signature K9 Training Academy

Daniel is a exceptional person and trainer. We took our Doberman Pup for obedience training and he came back a better and enjoyable dog. I was not a fan of prong collars but Daniel made me comfortable enough to trust him in using one. We can now walk our dog without him pulling and walking us. He obeys his commands as long as we stay consistent. We have learned that when we slack, so does he. Tha nice thing is we can now take him out in public and we have a well behaved pup. We did a 3 week board and train with our dog and we cannot recommend Signature K9 enough! Everything about our experience was professional and thorough. Daniel does a great job not only teaching your dog, but teaching you as a trainer how to have the most success after the board and train ends. He doesn’t leave you high and dry after training, you are given a 30 day training packet after your board and train and offers lifetime support. You meet with him several times during the board and train to be taught how to work with your dog when you take him/her home. We saw incredible results after the 3 weeks and feel like we have the tools to have a wonderful dog for our child! We can’t thank Daniel and Justin enough! We have a great place to board our dog when needed and will definitely be using them again for our next dog!

I like many others got a puppy in college. I wasn’t aware of breeds or predispositions. My dog has had a few dog bites under belt and the last one was her house mate that she has lived with for 4 years with zero issues. I searched all over Austin trying to find someone who would take me seriously and see Juno for what she was. A sweet dog that can turn on a dime. Daniel and Justin are amazing with Juno. They took the time to explain everything they were seeing. Allowing us to bring the house mate to see how she would react with him. We now know she targets weaker dogs. Knowing what drives her is half the battle. Thank you Daniel and Justin for showing us the steps to make Juno a obedient dog! Now it is up to us!

We inherited Gretta our Dobermann when my parents passed away. She had extreme fearfulness and separation anxiety, and no confidence (she would cower in fear at life). We were initially going to bring her into our home, but we were feeling very nervous and anxious because we weren't sure if we had the skills or time to help her overcome these issues and take care of her. So we found Daniel's company and decided to go with a 3 week board and train to help instill some foundation in both Gretta as well as us since we were new dog owners. We were incredibly impressed by the improvements!! The training on us as dog owners began right away, we got to go for a lesson each week and Daniel helped train us in how to handle Gretta and understand her behaviours. At the same time, he was working with Gretta each day to overcome her fears, give her confidence, manners, and basic obedience. At the end of 3 weeks we couldn't believe that Gretta was our dog (in fact we're only half certain that he didn't just replace her with another Doberman...). Daniel was very responsive and having lifetime support and assistance as well as future training sessions with Daniel gives us the confidence that we need to know we can take Gretta to da moon!
