Shore K9

Jen, Bruce and Evan at ShoreK9 are the best! We’ve tried multiple different training styles with our Golden Retriever, but none of them seemed to work. Our dog would pull us all over the bike path when walking, jumped on guests when they visited and had selective listening when it came to the word “no”. Now, after sending Rip to ShoreK9, we’re able to leisurely walk miles on the bike path with Rip, he goes “place” when visitors come to our door and he’s just an all around better behaved dog! We could not be happier!

We 100% recommend Shore K-9 Training! We brought our little guy Teddy to them because of his extreme separation anxiety. His anxiety had become overwhelming for us, and he had even started destroying our doors trying to escape when we left the house. At one point, he actually scratched a hole through a window screen and got out. Thankfully he was safe and ended up enjoying a little visit at the police station. Before Shore K-9, we had tried medication and were even advised to see a dog behavior specialist. A friend then recommended that we reach out to Jen and Bruce at Shore K-9. From the moment we brought Teddy in to meet them, they reassured us that he was absolutely trainable and that their program could help him learn to settle and feel comfortable being alone. Jen and Bruce also came to our home for training sessions—not just with Teddy, but with us too (which we definitely needed!). Through their guidance, Teddy learned his manners, several commands, and most importantly how to stay calm and relaxed when we’re not home. Our boy officially graduated and we couldn’t be more proud of him! We are incredibly grateful for Jen and Bruce’s expertise, patience, and support in helping Teddy become the best version of himself. He loves being part of the Shore K-9 family and looks forward to his weekly daycare visits where he gets to play with his friends.

We couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received from Jenn & Bruce at Shore K9! Our dog started as an “unruly runner” and graduated with honors! 🌟 Our biggest concern was effective recall and Jenn and Bruce worked their magic and now our Paco listens so well and comes when called! This is a huge achievement!! Having a well trained dog is really life changing! (We thought we could train our previous dogs and well, we couldn’t!! 🤣 ) It is 💯 worth the time and cost investment! We cannot say enough great things about Shore K9. We enrolled our young, high-energy puppy in training after realizing her behaviors were beyond what we could effectively manage at home. From the very start, we saw noticeable improvement. By the end of our program, the team even went above and beyond—extending training to help refine some lingering puppy excitement. Today, she continues to attend daycare, and we couldn’t be happier. We no longer worry about door-dashing or having guests over—she’s become the perfect family dog. When we’re ready to adopt another dog, Shore K9 will absolutely be our first call. Their team is knowledgeable, attentive, and truly cares about both the dogs and their families.
