I searched and reviewed numerous trainers in my area, and found a great one just a little further from me, Shiloh K9 Academy! Excellent facility, Dave the trainer has a relaxed calm demeanor that really put my dog and myself at ease . Dave has 3 lifetimes of experience, and is absolutely spot on with his technique and training. My Rottweiler puppy behaves 100% better and very quickly learned what he was being taught. 10/10 recommend Shiloh K9 for any training needs, be it service work, or just behavior modification. My dog Dax was having problems with jumping, dog aggression, and general obedience. I didn’t have super high hopes that Dax would do well with training as when I’d work with him he wouldn’t listen very well. I only could ever get him to sit. Even laying down was a challenge. Dave worked wonders with me and Dax. I learned so much about how my dog learns and found out Dax is super smart and very trainable. I am now able to control Dax so much better than ever before and feel comfortable taking him out of the house without having to worry about how he may act. He now has manners on a leash, has a very good recall, knows so many different commands, and I am able to control him when going past other dogs without him becoming aggressive. I have enjoyed working with Dave so much and will be coming back for more extensive training.
