I have a reactive rescue Pitty who became aggressive towards certain dogs. The rescue introduced me to Sabrina from Shelby Semel Dog Training. Sabrina is fantastic, kind, patient, and focused on improving human and dog quality throughout the training process. I will definitely contact Sabrina when future needs arise.

Doug has worked with me and my Brussels Griffon puppy, Monk, since he was five months old. His approach is clear and patient, and he has helped me truly understand my dog. The follow-up notes after each session are detailed and incredibly useful, and I regularly refer back to them between sessions. We’ve made real progress with barking, leash skills, and independence. Highly recommend.

they are a bunch of hucksters that tell you one price to get you in the door and then quadruple the number once it comes time to pay. they’re also snobs who will refuse to pick up the phone or talk to you as a client face to face

I had a great experience with Doug! He was very informative and patient with my many questions since I’m a relatively new dog owner. He was also very thorough and gave me resources / exercises that are manageable. Would definitely recommend him as a trainer!!
