Shaman's Way Dog Training

I came across Aedan's name on social media and decided to contact him. He responded quickly, and after learning about him and his experience, I knew I needed his help. I adopted a 3 yo standard Poodle mix from the National Milldog Rescue in December 2023. It took several months for her to settle in before she began to bond to me. As we settled into our routine, I knew it would be important to get her trained. I've had dogs before but not with this level of trauma so I needed to find someone who would work with us and our specific needs. Aedan came to my house once a week for private lessons this summer. He provided me with the tools and encouragement I needed to be better able to work with my dog. Aedan is amazing! He is the dog Shaman! I highly recommend him. His training style, knowledge and techniques worked so well for me and my dog. I will definitely use him again if we need additional training and if I get another dog!

Aedan has been working with us and our newly rescued dog for several weeks now. Our shepherd mix came to us a loving young boy, but with lots of anxiety and little training. We actually met Aedan at the adoption fair where we found our dog, so we decided to give him a call when we wanted to start training. Aedan came for an initial visit to assess and get an idea of what we wanted out of our time together. He then came back with an 8-week plan and we got started! Over the weeks, the plan was adjusted according to our dog’s needs; he has some anxiety on leash and needs more time getting used to being out in the world with other dogs and “threats”. Aedan has given us some great advice and checks in between sessions to see how our practice is going. We look forward to continuing training and hopefully getting our boy to pass his Canine Good Citizenship tests in the near future!

I had Aedan as my trainer for my dog Bonez since I first got him at 8 weeks old. Once Bonez was old enough to start traning classes we went every week. Aedan was amazing with Bonez. We did 3 different classes with him. Beginners, intermediate and the advanced classes. Bonez is now a certified Good Canine Citizen due solely to Aedans hard diligent work with my puppy!! He is an amazing trainer and understands dog behaviors wonderfully. He's also good at training the humans on how to handle their dogs better so they can have the best life possible. I loved the get together outside of the trainings so that the dog parents can Mingle and the dogs can Socialized. I would definitely recommend Aedan and his services to anyone looking.
