Seventh Heaven Pet Care Services

I began work with Jenny at Seventh Heaven Pet Care Services about a month ago. My dog, Grace, is fear-reactive and doesn't take to people quickly. She took right to Jenny. She has an energy that keeps Grace calm and helps her to build confidence. Jenny is thorough. She gave me a lot of information helping me to better understand Grace's behavior and also a better understanding of the training. The materials helped me to slow down and really think about what triggers were out in Grace's world. From this, we set specific goals including introducing her to a new dog walker, Amy (who is amazing!), overnight sitting and working through separation anxiety, as well as socializing with other dogs. Jenny introduced Grace to one of her dogs, Sandy. it was amazing to see how Grace followed all the cues and did so well. Already this month, we have checked off some of our goals. Grace is so excited to see them with every visit. I can't say enough about Jenny and her team. I'm so grateful. There is no better feeling than seeing your dog gain confidence and be relaxed at being her princess self! Jenny is very responsive and works with the owners and their pets where they are. Seventh Heaven dog training really turned my dog and I's relationship around. Prior to working with Seventh Heaven, my 1-year-old Shetland Sheepdogs leash reactivity was getting seriously out of hand. We couldn't even have another dog in sight without excessive barking, snarling, and lunging which also translated to lunging at bikers, runners, and cars. It led to many walks that ended in tears and built anxiety within our relationship. Within one training session with Jenny, my dog's leash reactivity decreased by half. The use of fear-free training that is based on positive reinforcement was the most effective training method for my dog that gave immediate results. With the use of Jenny's personal dogs as training tools and field trips to local dog parks, after only a month I had a completely different relationship with my dog. With continued training and practice I can now feel confident in bringing my dog on new adventures.
