10/10 — I highly recommend working with Kevin if you’re looking for a dog trainer. We recently worked with him for our 10-month-old yellow Lab puppy, and it’s incredible to see what can be accomplished in just one week—let alone four. Our dog struggled with listening, controlling excitement, following commands, jumping, and more. Day-to-day tasks with our dog had become difficult to manage. Kevin not only transformed our dog’s behavior, but also provided us with clear guidance and practical corrections to help us maintain that progress at home. He is personable, attentive, and truly tailors his training to meet the needs of each pet owner. Unlike large, big-box training facilities, he offers focused, one-on-one attention. Most importantly, he equips you with the skills and tools needed to ensure the training lasts well beyond the four-week program.

I am a disabled Veteran and suffer from PTSD as well as many chronic issues. Around a year ago Prada came to us as a rescue. We tried and tried and was unsuccessful in finding her a home. Over that time, she and I became more and more attached to each other. Another couple who adopted a GSD from us 5yrs ago recommended Serenity K9 for training and possibly making her my service dog. I placed the call to them and From the first conversation with Kevin it was clear he knew what he was doing. Prada has been transformed. I never thought I would be able to have a service dog with all the other animals we have. However, Kevin is absolutely one of a kind when it comes to training. His demonstrations and explanations are top notch. He breaks down every step, not only is your dog learning, But you are as well. He will even go on “field tips” with you so you recognize what to do in multiple situations. I rarely went places due to anxiety until I had Prada and because of the training from Kevin. Kevin did a great job training our pup Juno. He really takes the time to gain trust with the dogs and takes into account their own unique temperaments and personalities when it comes to his training. Our boy Juno was very timid and shy before training with Kevin, but after four weeks of training, he now has a lot more confidence and independence while at the same time being obedient and well-mannered. Kevin checked in frequently with us throughout the process to make sure we were seeing the results we wanted and was always available and happy to answer any and all of our questions. I would definitely recommend Serenity K-9 to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, and thorough dog trainer.
