Based in Seattle, we teach people to deeply understand their dogs, address behavior challenges, including puppy fundamentals, leash skills, reactivity, separation anxiety, anxiety, fear/phobias, post-traumatic stress, aggression, excessive barking, & behavior around strangers, and profoundly improve quality of life by addressing the interplay of genetics, psychology, environment, & relationship dynamics. Julie is an outstanding trainer, coach, and person. Our adolescent rescue dog struggled with anxiety, low confidence, and reactivity to the environment around him. Julie not only gave us effective training techniques that have transformed the way he interacts with the world, but also worked with our individual needs. She honed in on specific areas we could address within ourselves to be more successful dog parents. Julie cares so much about her clients (both dog & human!) and reminds us how much we can learn from our dogs. I absolutely recommend Sensitive Dog!
Julie has been incredibly responsive and provided excellent training in our initial session and subsequent follow-ups. Very welcoming to my girlfriend and I, in helping us to become better dog handlers ourselves. Provided a calming and helpful environment for our dog to learn!
Since seeing Julie with Hank he is a completely different dog. His demeaner has calmed down and since changing his food he has lost weight.
