I've been boarding my dogs with Tisha and working with her to resolve and/or manage their behavior problems, some severe, for 15 years. All those dogs save 1 have been rescues that had been the shelter's longest-time, hardest-to-place residents when I brought them home. Tisha unhesitatingly welcomed them all as boarders when many other kennels wouldn't take them in. Tisha also came to my home to apply custom-designed, humane, effective behavior modification and management programs that were individually tailored to each dog. The peace of mind knowing that my dogs have a safe and fun place to stay when I need to leave them behind for business or personal travel, and that I had done all I could to help even my most difficult adoptees live a calm and happy life, can't be overstated. I met Tisha back in 2006 or so when I adopted my first dog (who was big and completely blind) from the HSGA. She worked side by side with me for days to get this blind dog to accept my current dog so we could have a happy adoption. She helped teach me training skills to acclimate him to his new life surroundings and had great tips for blind dogs. I have since brought in 3 more adult rescue dogs over the years. Tisha has been in my life ever since. She has helped every dog integrate into our home successfully and has been there through numerous different behavioral issues over the years. I am a veterinary technician of 20 years (so I have a lot of animal behavior and handling skills) but I cannot begin to tell how much I have learned from Tisha. Her training tips have given me the confidence over the years to handle so many different types of behavioral issues. Tisha cares about every dog and takes time to really understand what's going on and helps to give the tools to work through it in a positive way. I cannot say enough about how important her behavioral training has been in the lives of our family and dogs over the years. I highly recommend her to everyone I know!
