Scooter Dog Training

Had a great time in the basic obedience class with Amber! Amber is attentive and makes sure that every pet parent understands exactly how to instruct their dogs. She also provided encouragement and constructive feedback as we worked through skills. Classes were detailed, with enough time to ask questions and print outs were provided with instructions on the skills as well as links to YouTube videos demonstrating them. We still have some work to do, but we’ve been set up with the skills and resources to get our dog exactly where we need him to be. Couldn’t be more thankful to finally have a dog that we can take out of the house without stress. We look forward to working with them again when we’re ready to go for his good citizen class! Brian Vinti is a dog magician. My Labrador retriever loves him so much that he would happily leave us for a life with Brian. And that says a lot about how much fun he has with Brian. Always gentle, fun and exiting! Brian is truly one of a kind, the way he started training my dog was smooth and ALWAYS fun. No punishments, no yelling. Now the training revolves a bit more about training me so I can be a better and more relaxed dog owner. I have always had dogs but it’s thanks to Brian’s help that I feel like I am finally learning how to be a leader my dog respects and understands.

Our 10 month old Goldendoodle was out of control. I was referred to Scooter Dog Training. I had a long conversation with Karen, the owner. We decided a two week session would be best. Amber took our dog from being out of control to a calm delightful pet. The support and follow up is excellent. I've had a few questions and Amber has been so helpful. We cannot say enough positive comments about this company! My wife spoke to Karen at length about our 3 year old Shihtzu that was terrified of everything! It had become a serious problem- She recommended “confidence boosting” training. We opted for 2 weeks of daily training in our home. Brian was amazing! Duncan did great (apparently we needed some training as well! 😂) He is now more confident, happy, and even fairly well mannered! We will continue to work with him- as he still has some fear at new experiences- but adjusts to new situations after a few minutes! Thank you!!!
