10/10!! I honestly had no idea where to even begin when my daughter first got interested in AKC dog sports, but finding San Antonio Kennel Club Training Center was the best thing that could have happened for us. Matt and Robert have been an absolute blessing. From day one, they took the time to walk us through everything—how to sign up for events, what each program means, and how to actually train and work with our dogs in a way that builds a real bond. They didn’t just teach my daughter, they taught me too, and that made the entire experience so much more meaningful. We’ve now completed STAR Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Conformation training, and Agility—and every class has been incredibly well run, supportive, and fun. The trainers truly care about both the dogs and the people, and it shows in how much confidence they build in their students. What really sets this place apart is that it’s so much more than just training—it’s an incredibly welcoming dog community. There are always events, matches, and activities going on, giving you so many opportunities to get involved and spend quality time with your dog alongside other like-minded people. Dog training has turned into something we do together as a family, and it’s given us such a great way to build a stronger bond with our dogs. We’re already signed up for another STAR Puppy class with our new dogs and couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey.
