I have known and worked with Dean since 2007 when I got my first GSD and I could not recommend anyone higher, as a trainer and as a friend. To talk about his dog knowledge and skills is legendary. I’ve seen him never give up on a dog, working consistently to bring the best out of them. I think he knows the dog better than the dog knows themselves. He ended up training myself and my 3 (yes, I bought 2 more after my first one) dogs to numerous titles including BH’s, IPO 1,2 &3 and FH 1 with high score and high point obedience in a trial. I enjoyed every moment of all of this, the good, the bad and the ugly! As far as his human associations go, certainly with me, he was patient and kind, (like he is with his dogs,) explaining the how’s and why’s of everything he wanted to see. I was greener than grass when I started and he taught me so much. I always valued his honesty and his opinions, rare qualities In today’s world. I consider him a great friend and you will not go wrong if you decide to train with him
