Sadie's Rules K9 Training

Not only did they do an incredible job training our rottie pup during the initial 3 week board and train, Jess and crew continue to be a resource for our family as we encountered different situations through puppy and early adult doghood. Sadie’s Rules is also our dogs favorite place to board when we go on family vacations. She can sense when we are getting close and starts whining with excitement to see Jess and family.

I can’t say enough good things about Jess and the Sadies Rules Team. Before working with Jess, my dog Bentley had reactivity towards both dogs and humans, major resource guarding, and even had to be sedated for vet appointments due to his reactivity and anxiety. He had even landed a bite. I could not take him out in public, besides walks around the neighborhood, without worrying that Bentley would react when strangers would come up to us. Bentley can now walk in a heel, is off leashed trained, and is calm in public around other dogs and strangers. Jess was extremely professional and transparent throughout Bentley’s entire training. She really went above beyond! She even took him back after his training had been complete because he had some unwanted behaviors return after his initial homecoming. When it was time for Bentley’s yearly vaccines she accompanied Bentley and I to the vet and worked through the entire appointment with us. And Bentley did GREAT! Jess truly cares about each of her clients and helps dogs be their best selves. Since returning home, life for both Bentley and I has never been better! It’s comforting knowing that if I ever have any questions or concerns, I can always reach out and Jess will be there to help us. If you choose to work with Jess and Sadies Rules, you will not regret it.

Sending our two labradoodles to board and train with Jess has been nothing short of life-changing. Our 5 year-old, Bailey, had developed intense anxiety and our 1 year-old, Jeni, was starting to pick up on many of her behaviors. We struggled to work from home or have people over because of their barking, and their reactivity made it impossible to walk them together or take them out in public. Since returning home, we've been able to do all of these things and more. Bailey used to be so obsessed with tennis balls that we couldn't keep them in our home (she would bark, pace, and pant for hours at just the sight of a ball). Now, we can to take her to play fetch off-leash and she's able to return to a state of calm when we're done. It brings us joy to see both dogs enjoying more freedom, exploring new places, and finally being able to relax. Jess and her team are professional, communicative, and transparent. A truly worthwhile investment!

Cannot say enough good things about Sadie’s Rules, Jess, family, and team. My dog Bennie was anxious, reactive, and I honestly did not know how to even go about coexisting with him when I rescued him from Craigslist. They agreed to tackle the major job of giving Bennie a much needed attitude adjustment as well as helping me stay focused to give Bennie the safest home/life. Even several years later, I know should an issue arise or I have any questions they will be there to help problem solve.

When I first reached out to Sadie's back in February, it was out of pure desperation. When we got the boys in the fall of last year, I knew that I wanted our cute little puppies to get training at some point, but at 5 months old our two GSP puppies - male littermates - had begun showing littermate syndrome in addition to just being out of control. It was a few months before the boys were able to go for their training (Jess is in high demand) and there were multiple times that I reached out and they were always very responsive. Jess even came to the house to meet the boys. Fast forward, and the boys have completed their training with Jess. Everyone who was around them before training and has seen them since they got home have all commented that they are totally different dogs and how well behaved and calm they are. More than that, Jess gave US the knowledge and tools needed to be the owners that our dogs need. Our dogs were full of anxiety, had terrible leash manners, would run away, struggled with being in their crates, and had no off button. Now, we get to enjoy them, and they get to spend actual quality time with us at home, running errands, out to dinner, or visiting with friends/family - not some frantic attempts to burn their energy and figure out how to keep from losing total control. Truly grateful for all the Jess and the Sadie's team have done for us.
