Sadie's Rules K9 Training

Jess and her team are incredible. My wheaten terrier dog was 10 months old when he did the 3 week board and train and he was uncontrollable on a leash and had untamed energy. With the help of Jess and her team, I have a happy (still energetic) but totally redirectable pup who walks off leash (!!) and listens very well to commands. I couldn’t be happier! Do not hesitate to invest in this type of training for your dog. It’s life changing. Also, I’ve never met a team that provides structure, but also totally loves and cares for animals than Jess and her team. I never worry when he is in her care, given that he boards with her often. forever appreciative.

Life before Sadie's Rules K9 Training we thought was OK, but not ideal. It was stressful at times, and overwhelming. Laila (age 8) we knew had severe thunderstorm anxiety, and mild separation anxiety but we simply thought that it was something we could deal with. We tried training her on our own, and having her get comfortable with a cage during storms and when we left the house, but when she tried to escape one day we weren't home, and ended up cutting her jaw, overwhelming fear hit us, and that is the point when we knew we needed help beyond what we could do by ourselves. Jess swooped right in and took Laila into her home for a 4 week board and train program. We knew things would be wonderfully different when Laila returned to us, but we truly didn't know what we were missing before the board and train. Laila, who could never be apart from us in the house, has been beyond calm and comfortable in her cage and on her cot for the place command. We are able to do things like cook in the kitchen, vacuum and just move around the house without tripping over Laila. The change so far is amazing, and Laila's confidence in who she is has grown. Whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks, hasn't met Jess. Laila's transformation has been incredible and we look forward to continuing to help her grow by using the tools Jess provided us. We brought Jess Quantico our Weimaraner for a 5 week training. Quantico had severe separation anxiety where he would bark, howl, and try to destroy his surroundings when we left the house, in turn making us prisoners to the house. After Quanticos 5 week stay with Jess he came back calm and content with being in his kennel and allowing us to leave the house without a worry. Not only that his obedience was on point. We are very pleased with the way Jess trained Quantico, and will forever be greatful. Jess has also board Quantico while we went on a 2 week vacation, her Instagram and Facebook stories put us at ease of mind when she post little snaps of how the dogs she is training/boarding are doing. Despite Jess being 2 hours from us, we will continue to drive the distance when we are of need of boarding for Quantico. Thank you Jess for fixing our Quantico, you have gained a client for life!

Jess is one of the best dog trainers in central Virginia. I'm so glad I chose her to train our 10 month old Australian Shepherd Mix. Our pup was hyperactive and only listened 30% of the time. He jumped on people (which wasn't cute when he's 70lbs), barked through conversations, and had poor canine manners which caused other dogs to avoid him. Jess gave us the tools to communicate effectively with him, and a structured training regimen to allow Dodger to be well mannered towards people and other canines.
