I adopted Tiger as my 1st dog in 2013 from Putnam Humane society where Steve was training him at the time. Tiger had a few minor incidents that deterred people from adopting him but I wanted to give him a chance. The transition from shelter to home was a bit rough, but Steve was there every step of the way to guide us through it. His calm/positive enforcement approach really did wonders for our boy. he learned to walk nicely on the leash next to me instead of dragging me, and stopped leash biting. I learned what Tiger needed in order for it to be a successful adoption. Through the years, Steve has always been invested in Tiger’s well being, and we are glad to be able to call him our trainer AND friend. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a trainer.

Steve worked with our feisty german shepherd puppy and shared many tips on how to get her to leash walk, come when called, etc. She is much easier to handle now. We highly recommend him

Steve is absolutely AMAZING. He has been working with my 2 puppies Moose and Milo (Pitbull/Black Lab and Yellow Lab/Jack Russell) for the past 3 months, and I am so happy with the results.
Steve is so patient with the dogs and their humans - - as part of the learning curve is not just the dogs, but the humans too. He is also very accommodating with coming to the house during hours that work for you, and is always prompt for the session.
Steve created a methodical approach based on what my families needs are and provided simple to use with that "OH YEAH, THAT MAKES SENSE" approach that we can all follow. The key is consistency with the entire family unit, and once that all set in with the adults and the kids, my 2 puppies are doing amazing. Each step along the way Steve will observe the dog and the person's interactions. He provides you with quality feedback and doesn't give you or the dog an unrealistic or unattainable tasks to help your fur-baby become the best they can be. There is no such thing as a stubborn dog, it might just be a misunderstanding of commands. This was a huge eye opener for us, and without Steve we would still be saying my dog was just being "moody." Take the opportunity and make the call - you will not be disappointed.

Steve is wonderfully kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Although our puppy was well-behaved, she was incredibly anxious. Steve's visit and tips have helped her to become more social and much less fearful in a short time. Our puppy has more progress to make, but thanks to Steve she is off to a great start.
