S.M.A.R.T. Dog School

I started coming to SMART Dog School because I was struggling with my reactive German Shepard, Jango. I couldn’t take him in public due to him lunging and barking at everyone and their pets. It was an extremely frustrating experience for me, but through the amazing trainers I have been able to find methods that allow me to do what’s best for my dog and get him the help he needs. Just today I was able to take him to the vet and he did amazing. Our usual vet visits consist of him pulling me and lunging as we try to get to our room, but today he walked calmly next to me and was able to pass by multiple people with no issues. Once we got to our room, the poor boy had to get five shots and blood work and he sat great (in my lap as I held him like the baby he is). SMART Dog School has helped me gain the confidence to handle my dog properly and helped him find confidence in himself. I am thrilled with his progress, and while we still have a long way to go, I know SMART Dog School is with us every step of the way! Also, a big thank you Randy for taking to the time between home visits to give me some advice before the vet visit on what I should do! It did wonders and I appreciate all your help with Jango!
