FirstBarkOur son took in an Australian Shepherd as a rescue 3 years old. Despite being a very smart dog and being treated with love and kindness, he would still be very protective & aggressive around strangers. Mr. Russell’s one-on-one sessions and our son’s commitment to the training have made a huge impact in a short time. We’re so happy that our son’s dog is becoming a good canine citizen.

Do NOT use Russel k9 services. After waiting over a month for our in home appointment, he called to cancel an hour before. It was a VERY expensive home session with 3 dogs and I booked 2 weeks of sessions. I clearly communicated how important the sessions were for us and the timing. This man cancelled because of...an ear ache. 1 hr before our apt time. Completely unbelievable. The google reviews are more accurate than his FB reviews so keep that in mind and look elsewhere. Idk how someone has the gall to charge that much (hundred of dollars) with such a long wait, just to cancel. 100% unprofessional. He blamed the short notice on someone hacking into his phone 🤔 I wish I could get the past month of waiting back as I could have secured an alternative option. He also said it's "bad weather".... it rains and thunders every day in Florida *update- despite his reply, he did not attempt to call until 3:57 p for a 5p apt. His attempts to reschedule were for this weekend, which half the dog owners are away and would not be useful. Hence, the reason I held out for a month waiting for this appointment. I don't miss a day of work over an ear ache, head cold, etc. My standards and work ethic simply differ from this vendor; if you are like me, and head into the office after a snowstorm, show up even when the power goes out, and fight through a head cold/allergies to get the job done and honor your commitments, then best to seek services elsewhere.
Albert has done wonders for my 4 year old male dominant Doberman. Have been training with him for the past few years and my boy has made huge progress. Albert was recommended to me by a local kennel (The Place for Pets, who are also awesome) and am very happy with the results. There is clearly a mutual respect with Albert and my boy, which is rare.

Within minutes we saw changes with our dogs. Albert helped us identify actions and body languages of the dogs and how to bond with out dogs. These dogs are our pets not the other way around. I never knew how it felt to walked a dog with a loose leash. Just walking a few feet in the house, I was walking the dog. Not getting pulled around by a brickhouse. I would recommend alber to anyone looking for a dog trainer or someone who has had a dog trainer in the past, like myself.
