Russell's K9 Academy

After shopping around at other places for training we decided to bring our 4 month cane corso to Russells k9. We really liked Albert's approach to training and it was obvious that he truly did care about the animals he handled. For peace of mind there were cams that we could watch in his back yard while training which was nice but we never used them. Another great thing that he offered was the chance to train with him and the dog for a couple hours for a handful of days before we actually took her back home with us. This was something we took full advantage of and it was clear how badly we needed it from the get go. By the second day all of our mistakes were identified and remedied. By the 4th day we had all the confidence in the world on how to be better owners and could communicate so clearly with our baby girl. It's a joy on another level of owning dogs when your dog will listen to every one of your commands without hesitation. She is very well trained and minds our commands with joy. Albert definitely did a great job and surpassed all expectations. We would highly recommend Russell's K9 if you want your dog to be trained correctly and treated with Love ❤️ Thank you Albert and D for everything

When we found our pit bull, Corndog, roaming the streets, I never could have imagined he would become such a well-behaved and trained companion for our family. He was wild, out of control, and we couldn’t even get him on a leash or walk him properly when we first brought him to Albert. Now, he goes on walks with no problem, listens to commands, and genuinely wants to learn. The transformation has been incredible, and we’re so grateful for Albert’s patience, knowledge, and dedication.

Do not hire Russell he will ruin your dog. He knows nothing about dog training. He trains dogs by inflicting pain and mental abuse. I know this because I Was ignorant and I hired him I fired him and I have witnesses. This man needs to be out of business. If you love your dog and you don’t want him or her ruined, please don’t call this guy. PS it’s been almost 3 years now since then it still bothers me the horrifying experience he inflicted on my dog, I don’t wish that on anyone ever.

Albert and Doreen did an amazing job with my 8 year old Sweet Pea. I honestly wasn’t sure how much she would be able to learn at her age since she had never been trained before, but she absolutely exceeded my expectations. She came home with a strong foundation in the fundamentals, a better understanding of boundaries, and a whole new level of respect for both her owners and other dogs. The difference in her confidence is amazing, and walking her now is so much easier and actually enjoyable. What I appreciate most is how much our bond has improved. She trusts me more, listens to me, and feels more secure overall. You can tell Albert and Doreen truly care and know what they’re doing. Sweet Pea adores them. I’m so grateful for the work they put into her and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for training or boarding. I will trust them to board her in the future.
