Russell K9

We had a fantastic experience with Kody and Russell K9 from start to finish. Kody was able to change our dogs lives and ours. Before their 2-week stay, our two dogs did not know any commands and pulled like crazy on leash. Now they know over 5 different commands and are a joy to walk. Besides his transformative training, Kody treated both of our dogs with immense patience and compassion. One of my dogs had a previous injury and he tailored his training to meet my dogs needs. My husband and I absolutely loved the daily videos showing all their progress. However, we are most thankful for the future Russell K9 gave my family and our dogs. They have made it possible to enjoy walks, public outings and even walk off leash!

My 5 month old Frenchie, Gracey, learned so much in her 2 weeks with Kody. I actually didn’t expect so much given her young age: heel, sit, stay, down, duration down, focusing & following commands even in the face of distractions. The things she has learned (and that we’ll build on) will make her life safer and more enjoyable. She’s a smart girl getting smarter! I couldn’t be more pleased. You can be assured that your dog is safe and well cared for in the trainer’s home. Also, if anyone reading this is like me, in that new people and new situations can be a bit intimidating or make them anxious, especially when dog training is completely new to you, Kody’s calm & kind, yet competent, demeanor is an extra incentive to choose Russell K-9. (He’s also a Marine OOH-RAH!) Gracey & I will definitely be back to learn even more.

Living in a neighborhood full of children, other animals and a lot of traffic safety was #1 on my list for LuLu and those around her. She is the most lovable dog you’ll ever meet but without the obedience that Kody at Russel K9 taught her she wouldn’t be able to live her best life. With this new freedom we are already enjoying our outside time more. Especially off the leash! I highly recommend Russel K9 for all of your training needs.

Just want to say how amazed I am about how much Zoey learned in her 2 week program, not to mention what I learned during my training upon pick up. This morning Zoey and I went on a long walk and she was amazing! Could not believe the difference, before she would pull me, pick up everything and put in her mouth and run after vehicles, Today she was great, and so patient with me because I’m slower than Kodi her trainer was. This program is so worth the investment. Looking forward to a lifetime of great memories with Zoey, but knowing if she were to ever need a refresher training I can just call Russell K9 and they are there for us. Watching a couple videos of dogs being trained is all it takes to see that these guys know how to train a dog. I could write a review explaining how impressed I was with my pup when I picked her up, but the amazing training isn't what sets these guys apart. The minute I met them in person, I knew my dog would be treated like a family member. The care and compassion shown towards every dog I've seen them interact with is mind blowing! It is obvious that they are passionate about what they do and the well being of my dog was their top priority
