Our sweet and sassy coonhound has come a LONG WAY since meeting his BFF, Jackson! We are so relieved 😌 at the transformation in just 6 weeks! Bairn now knows commands that make all of our lives easier, like Place, Heel, he actually comes when you call him, and he’s a total pro at sitting and laying down now. We’re headed to the coast this week and are feeling way more confident to have him off-leash on the e-collar so we can all enjoy some freedom on vacation and before our first child joins our little family! We’re really excited we can communicate more effectively with Bairn now, and have a better sense of control with him as we prepare to welcome a new baby into our home… we’ll really need the peace of mind this brings. We cannot recommend Jackson enough! He’s organized, professional, but flexible. Kind, caring and generous. He’s really an expert at what he does and we felt well taken care of through the entire process. (And like we have a resource for Bairn’s entire life to support us through the challenges of having a hunting dog. 🐶) If you’re on the fence about this training or his outdoor daycare, just do it! You won’t regret it! It’s an incredible value for what you get. And it brings peace of mind to your relationship with your pup.

Jackson is an exceptional dog trainer. He is knowledgable, patient, responsive, and demonstrates a genuine care for our dog. The work he has done with our dog-- funnily also named Jackson- has dramatically improved the quality of his life, and ours. Our dog is a 2 year old hound mix rescue who is highly independent. Our biggest struggle with him was recall, as well as him being over stimulated when encountering other dogs. We are active and these issues made it extremely stressful to have Jackson out on trails or even just on walks in the neighborhood. With the training tools Jackson provided to our dog, as well as to us, Jackson (the dog) is now calm and controlled when he meets new dogs, and not only is he great on his walks we can have him off leash on trails to sniff and explore and run without the stress of him not responding when we call him back. Because of his breed mix he needed this freedom. Now he gets all of the mental and physical stimulation he needs and is an all around better behaved dog because of that. One thing I want to call out here in case it helps others. Jackson does use e collars as part of his conditioning process. This is something that made me uncomfortable at first and I had to come around to. Now that I am educated, I would tell anyone who is hesitant to not let this approach deter you. Our dog is HAPPY when we take the collar out because he knows he is about to have some off leash trail time. We seldom have to use it, the main reason we put it on him is as insurance in case he sees a squirrel and takes off on us. The technology is advanced and harmless, and Jackson is extremely thoughtful and responsible in how he uses the collars to condition. Our dog would never be able to have the quality of life he has now without this tool and I am grateful for it. We cannot say enough about how much this training has impacted our sweet, crazy doggo and us. Thank you Jackson!

Jackson is a very patient and well rounded dog trainer. I was having behavioral problems with my dog Honey that needed to be corrected. For example, she was jumping up on people, being mouthy, and she had some dominance issues with certain dogs. I wanted to solve those issues because my main goal was to have Honeys training to a level where she could be off leash when I run trails. Jackson was able to accomplish everything I was looking for. Jackson trained her to stop jumping up, being mouthy, and he found the cause of the dominance issue and educated me on why it’s happing and how to avoid it. On top of fixing the behavior problems, Jackson was able to train her to be under control while off leash. I could not be happier with what Honey is capable of now. I appreciate Jackson’s help in bringing out the best version of my dog and I highly recommend Jackson for any dog training needs.

This company was simply amazing. I heard of them through a friend that highly recommended them, and they did not disappoint. I actually hired them first for dog training. I was having issues with one that I adopted but they were able to get both the dog and I working together to create a great family environment. It was like magic. I now use them for doggie daycare and I think my dog likes being with them more than me, but oh well. Thank you RunningWild Dogs & Co!!!4
