My rescue doberman came to us with some unknown, unresolved issues we were 100% not equipped to deal with. He was aggressive, fearful, and stressed around seemingly any new stimuli---dogs, people, statues, flags... Thank goodness for RuffLife, and all the work they helped us put into helping our dog be OK in the world. Shilee became an integral part in my dog's life, starting with board and train, and then weekly walks over multiple years, as well as him staying with her while we went home for holidays. She was the only one we could trust at first, knowing his history. We can't thank her enough for her time with us and our dog. She is the reason he can handle his emotions today, and is safe to bring other people and dogs to meet him. He has grown up into a relatively well adjusted, goofy, happy dobie. She will be greatly missed in her move to Texas, but we know she'll help tons of dogs down there too.
