Listen. Shilee is amazing at her job and on top of that she is a joy to work with, and on top of THAT just a really cool person. I would give her more stars if I could. We sent our puppy to her under her 3 week board and train option. We missed our boy while he was away but Shilee was great at keeping us updated on his progress with text updates and videos of his training. She talked us through what they were working on and always was available to answer any questions we had about his training. We felt very much in the loop while he was away training with her. When he came back she made time to sit down with us and go over all his training and any training tools she had used and that we could continue using with him. There is a bit of a learning curve in getting acquainted with the commands and how to continue reinforcing the training foundation she has set in place but we were diligent and Shilee arranged a couple of home check-ins to observe and offer guidance or corrections as needed. The result is that our silly and fun but obnoxious puppy has turned into a silly and fun and well-adjusted addition to our family. He has grown in confidence knowing what we expect of him and how to do it. It really increased our bond with him and has made our relationship with him even more trusting and joyful. One of our main concerns was that sending him away to training would return a shadow of his former self to us- an automaton of trained commands and his silly, fun-loving side gone along with his innate puppy confidence and trust. But Shilee assured us that was not her style and true to her word, she returned him to us full of the same silliness, fun and confident hallmarks of personality fully intact. If anything we observed more confidence and pride in him than before. Our boy also LOVES Shilee, he clearly interacts with her as a friend. I think that’s exactly what you want to see from your dog after training with someone. Our whole family loves and trusts Shilee and we cant recommend her enough to everyone. (And believe me we do recommend her any chance we get). It’s not often you see someone who excels in their work and loves it to boot. Shilee and Rufflife are one of those rare shining examples. You will NOT be disappointed.

Rufflife provides safe reliable pet care for my dog and she even gives my cat loves when she visits. She walks my dog when I'm at work so I don't come home to a mess. My dog loves the walks and attention. We have been most happy with her prompt communication. We always receive photos of our dog and she keeps us updated on any issues during the walk. I would highly recommend Rufflife to anyone looking for an honest and reliable dog walker.

We adopted a dog from a shelter that had no prior information. He was the sweetest dog, but it was quickly evident that he had no training, and likely ran the streets most of his life. He was constantly getting out of our yard and peeing on my husband. We did an at home training program with Ruff Life and she helped us build the necessary bond so he wasn't trying to get out or run the streets. He is now the GREATEST dog! He is so well trained, we take him camping and hiking with us, with full confidence that he'll behave himself around people and other animals. (And he no longer pees on my husband!) Shilee really gets to know the dog so she can figure out how to work with them best. She is not a one size fits all trainer, and will get your dog living their best life!
