Training is simple, but it’s not easy, and that’s why our mission is to give guidance to owners everywhere using a results driven and balanced approach since 2013.
Everything we do begins with foundation training! While introducing your dog to new commands we know the importance of using primarily positive reinforcement to make sure we are creating confidence, focus, motivation and clear communication.
Once you have established your new relationship, we use training collars (e-collars) to test our training in any environment. We find value in applying mental and physical exercise to this process to make sure your dog maintains a relaxed state of mind around distractions. We are about working smarter, not harder!

There is no limit to the amazing things I can say about Ruff Rules and especially about Jenna! Seymour is a little STINKER and can be soooo particular and so difficult, but somehow Jenna unlocked something in him that has changed our walks, routine, his fulfillment, his ability to be off leash, and the amount of fun we can have together. He completely fell in love with Jenna and I can't believe all the care she met him with. She worked with me so much throughout training, talked me off of ledges, let me cry without judgment lol. I honestly could never thank Jenna and Keeley enough!

Not sure what we would’ve done without Sydney to guide us through the puppy stage ! We are first time puppy owners and Syndey was such a gem of a trainer to have ! She is so kind and caring. She was always there for us and helped train our puppy so well. Highly recommend 💕

Serena from Ruff Rules was amazing with our dog, Bamba. We saw a significant improvement even after the first session. She not only helped train Bamba, but more importantly, she helped train us so we can continue building great habits at home. I cannot say enough about this professional, knowledgeable, and caring group of women and their dedication and care in training my rambunctious four-legged energy ball of a mini-golden - and me, a first time puppy owner.
Ruff Rules is encompassing training with both thoughtful and structured training and play time that allowed my little girl to be socialized, taught and gain confidence. She went on field trips and real life socialization scenarios.
She learned basic commands, crate training, how to settle, manners (that we still work on daily) and boundaries. The consistent communication and updates about what was happening and how to implement was -and is- pure gold. I learned consistency matters and what a joy a well behaved dog can be. She’s not perfect -she’s a puppy- so the ability to reach out and get guidance is so appreciated.
I know Sydney, Jenna and Keely all treated my girl like their own - and that is irreplaceable. 💕🐾

Eva is honestly incredible!! I couldn’t have asked for a better dog trainer. She really transformed our Georgia, French bulldog with stubborn behaviors and I mean wow our girl has really changed.
