Ruff House Dog Training

I can't thank Crystal enough for showing us how to turn our shelter dog, Rain, into a very well-behaved and obedient companion. When we got Rain, she was not only completely untrained on any basic command but also very reactive to other dogs. We saw huge improvements after just a few sessions with Crystal. While the sit/stay/come are of course important, the best thing she taught us was the "watch me" command - now whenever Rain is uncertain - particularly in situations with other dogs - she will look right at us and wait for us to tell her what to do. She also will not eat snacks or meals until we give her the "OK" command - all thanks to Crystal. She's so well behaved now that she's gone from the shelter to eating on restaurant patios and staying in hotels (picture of a perfect "stay" on one such trip). I can't recommend Ruff House highly enough!

Crystal and her training programs at Ruff House are awesome! My Sasha and I have gone through her puppy program and a little private training, which has all laid a solid foundation for me in responsible dog ownership. With Crystal's guidance and lots of consistency our pets can gain so much! I no longer live in AZ but know that she is always available to assist with questions and references if I should need her help.

Crystal is an excellent trainer and all around wonderful person. All of her family dogs are very well behaved/trained. It is obvious that she understands what/how a dog is thinking, and her training stems from this, making it very effective. Positive reinforcement is her concentration, and it is pleasing to see her work with dogs. Ariel is also a very experienced trainer, hand picked by Crystal. Ruff House classes are varied and so helpful for all levels of training needs. I have been very happy with my dog's results, and I hear compliments about Ruff House all of the time!

We feel so fortunate to have Ruff House recommended to us. We took Quincy (Bichon Frise) to the beginning obedience class. Not only is Crystal a very skilled, competent and knowledgeable instructor and dog trainer, but she is so kind, approachable and personable. She knows how to relate to both the dogs and their owners! We also had Crystal come to our home for a couple of one-on-one trainings which were very, very helpful. Later on, we put Quincy in the Fun-Agility class. Ariel taught this particular class, and she did an absolutely outstanding job as well. We all had so much fun, and Ariel's instruction was very thorough and clear. There is such a wide variety of classes, and much thought goes into planning each one. Ruff House is an all-around outstanding business conducted with the highest of standards. It is hands-down the best dog training in Tucson. We are thankful for our continued, on-going relationship with Ruff House, as they are always available to answer questions or offer suggestions when needed.
