Rude Dog K9 Training

We are so lucky to have known Brett for many years and have seen how wonderful all of the dogs in his life are perfect company…..when we brought our 8 week old Golden Retriever Murphy home from the breeder, we had little of idea of the journey he would take us on. To shorten this review, will say that Murphy had digestive issues from the beginning and was literally starving, no matter how much or what we fed him.  Of course a starving dog can also lead to behavioral issues, mainly aggression/possessive tendencies.  Fast forward towards the end of year 1 of Murphy’s life, we made the journey to Ohio, almost 400 miles from where we live, to have Brett/Rude Dog K9 Training Company evaluate Murphy’s issues and to work with him. WOW!  What a difference 2 weeks of incredible training can do to a dog!  Murphy has transitioned to the raw food diet, which has dramatically improved his digestion system and has finally enabled Murphy’s body to hold some weight!  Just his appearance has greatly improved. Brett worked on basic commands, sit, stay, heal, come, down, etc and then moved on to agility training.  Brett advised that Murphy needed much improvement in his confidence, which would help him improve in other characteristics of his behavior.  To see Murphy walk over the see-saw, jumps the hurdles, climb over the inverted V shaped wall was terrific to observe! When we came back to Ohio to pick Murphy up, Brett spent time with us to teach us how to properly correct and when to correct behavior.  To have Murphy walking on a leash like a perfect gentleman will definitely increase our willingness to take Murphy to new places to continue exploring his world. I can't recommend Brett enough! He is so knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer my 50 questions Everytime I see him. I have now taken both of my dogs here on separate occasions and he keeps me updated with videos and pictures during the day. When I pick them up he takes the time to train me on what he has worked on with them and you also get an email in case you forget. He's an incredible trainer and very easy to talk to, to learn more about the questions you have. Also extremely knowledgeable in pet nutrition. Brett really does cover all the bases when it comes to caring for your pet!

Brett is an amazing trainer. He is knowledgeable and very skilled at training humans and dogs alike. The commands he teaches your dog are taught to you at the end of the lesson and he will work with you so you feel confident continuing the lesson at home. We have had one lesson for each dog and have noticed a drastic improvement with walking our Doberman. We are no longer being dragged, but both of us can actually walk her. We are looking forward to bringing both dogs back for more lessons. Thank you!!
