The team at Rucker Dog Training went above and beyond. If I could, I would give them 10 stars. I highly recommend them for every dog owner. Our 9 month old English Cream Golden Retriever Holly was totally out of control. She did not know how strong she was and pulled my wife and I down putting both of us into the hospital. She did not listen to us at all. Ruckers 3 Week, Board and Train program was recommended to us from other dog owners who put their dogs through the program. Ruckers not only trained our dog, but also trained us on how to continue her training at home. Holly is a totally changed dog, Not only does she listen and follow our commands, she has totally calmed down.

Best dog trainer in all Georgia. Scott trained our four month old lab to perfection. She left our home wild and a little crazy. Came home a good puppy that mines her commands and enjoys being around people. I highly recommend Rucker Dog Training to everyone. He fully explains the process and helps you to understand what needs to be done. I will continue my advanced training with Rucker.. I enjoyed the training sessions and it made me understand the process much easier than just having to go through all the hard work alone. Having his guidance and experience was the best thing I could have ever done.

We knew we were in for a ride when we brought our Belgian Malinois puppy (Riot) home. We recently completed puppy class and are now starting advanced training and e-collar work. This pup is going to need training her entire life to reach her full potential. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more professional—and often funny—team to help train your dog. We’re looking forward to many years of training with Scott and his team.

Sending Bella to Rucker Training for board and train was one of the best decisions I’ve made for her—and honestly, for our relationship. Bella is an incredibly intelligent, high-drive dog, and I knew early on that she needed more than just basic obedience. I didn’t want to suppress who she is—I wanted to give her structure, clarity, and an outlet for that drive. That’s exactly what Rucker delivered. From the very beginning, what stood out to me was how much emphasis they place on communication and leadership. The transformation in Bella wasn’t just obedience—it was confidence, focus, and the ability to stay neutral and make better decisions in the real world. During her board and train, Bella was immersed in a structured environment with intentional exposure. When I began handling her during the program, I was guided through working her around other dogs right away, which built both of our confidence quickly. That hands-on transition made a huge difference. Now, Bella is able to exist with so much more freedom—off-leash hiking, calm behavior around other dogs, reliable recall, and clear communication between us. She’s still the same bold, driven dog—but now she has direction. What I appreciate most is that the support doesn’t end after board and train. The ongoing classes and access to guidance have been invaluable in continuing to build on that foundation. If you’re looking for training that goes beyond surface-level obedience and actually changes how you and your dog move through the world together, I can’t recommend Rucker Training enough!

I started my puppy, Dolly out in the beginners class every week. She was making a lot of progress there, then my mom got hospitalized for two weeks, so I couldn't give her to consistency she needed. We made the decision to put her in the board and train program. We've had her back for a few days, and while its obvious we need to maintain the training with her, she came back a different dog. I loved how often Rucker posted social media updates so I could watch her training one day at a time, and they were VERY thorough with me when I picked her up, spending about two hours going over everything and getting lots of reps in with Dolly before I took her home. Rebecca was GREAT, and we will continue going to the advanced off leash classes. Scot and his team really know what they're doing, and I can't recommend them enough.
