Rucker Dog Training

I’ve had several dogs over my lifetime, and had different trainers but have never met a trainer that understands the mind of a dog like Scot does. He trains owners to understand of how a dogs mind works and helps you to become a team with your dog not just an owner. I’ve trained two rescue dogs with him and they are the best behaved dogs I’ve ever owned, I have no issues taking them anywhere. They are Canine Good Citizens and have been to Senior Centers, Libraries and Hospitals. Since training with Scot and his team my dogs have gone on to doing, Agility, Scent Work and more. Rucker Dog Training classes are supportive and a fun environment for you and your dog. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We brought our rescue Ava to Rucker to try to calm and focus her lab/pit energy and it made all the difference! She went from wild to (more) mannered and she learned so much that has helped us daily! They did such a great job that we adopted one of the their foster dogs (Niki) to give Ava the companionship that she needed, while also helping with her fear of other dogs. Ava has opened up and relaxed so much thanks to Rucker, and Niki has become a wonderful addition to our family! We are so grateful to everyone at Rucker for helping with Ava and for giving us the opportunity to adopt Niki!

Scot and Whitney are amazing. I have a rescue who is a reactive dog sometimes to humans but mostly towards other dogs. Scot had a one-on-one session with me. He taught me so much to move forward and implement at home. Over the next 6 or so weeks I implemented those training tools Scot taught me. This included Muzzle training as well as leash handling training. I had another one-on-one session with Scot and Beamer (my dog) had transformed/grown so much. I was able to start group classes which I will continue. Scot and his staff are great at what they do at Rucker! If you implement the tools and are committed, you can be successful. I can't wait to see where Beamer and I go, this is just the beginning.
