I brought my six month old lab to Richard for training. He did an absolutely amazing job with her. I can’t say enough positive things about his approach and work he did with my lab. I paid for the basics but got so so much more. I highly recommend Royal Gun Dogs. I have used a few other trainers in the past but Richard and Royal Gun Dogs by and far surpasses them all. I can’t recommend him enough.

Every once in a while you meet someone who is an absolute master at their craft. That’s the first thing that comes to mind describing Richard. The level of knowledge and care he has for dogs is unmatched. I was referred to him from my friend who had a dog trained by Richard. He was extremely satisfied and urged me to have Richard train my dog. It was my first time dropping a dog off for training and once I met Richard, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with him. He takes the needs of the dog first, before anything else. My dog took a little longer than expected to take to the training, but Richard is extremely patient and knowledgeable and thanks to him, she has turned out to be everything I had hoped for. I am very satisfied and grateful. I would recommend Richard to anyone who wants a top quality trainer. He’s the best of the best.

My wife and I were no so concerned sending our puppy away for 2-4 months for training. The first thing we noticed when we saw him after his first two weeks was how incredibly happy he was and we both felt immediately at ease. Richard has very clean kennels and trucks. The dogs stay in a beautiful spacious kennel and are very well taken care of. The training is coming along well and my wife and I have complete confidence in Richard.

Richard at Royal Gundogs is first class, he’s had my Lab pup Raven in for 3 months of gundog training he kept me up to date on her progress and sent pictures. This passed weekend we ran her in a junior hunt test and she earned a pass both days thanks to Richard. He walked me through the whole process of a junior test and made sure I was ready as well as Raven. We are coming back for the advance gundog. Richard is honest and upfront, he won’t waste your time or your money. I highly recommend Royal Gundogs!
