Rompin' Rovers

My dog is a bit anxious and takes time to warm up to new people, places and experiences. At Rompin' Rovers, she has done wonderfully and has completely blossomed due to their great care and attention towards her needs. All staff members are terrific and you can tell how much they love all their customers' pets. You feel like family here. I am so pleased with how professional they are, as well as how comfortable you are made to feel leaving your pet in their capable hands. They love my little baby and she loves them. I would strongly recommend using Rompin' Rovers as your pet will be given everything from great care and security, to training tips, and other helpful hints to make your pet's life easier. Thank you to the staff for giving Xyla such an amazing place to learn and grow in. I see her progress clearly, and I'm forever grateful.

Our 16 week old Dalmatian, Huey, loves Rompin' Rovers. Every morning he jumps out of my arms to go to daycare/training. I know Huey is in good hands when I drop him off and I am always able to communicate with staff about Huey's food/daycare schedule. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and has gone the extra step to make me feel comfortable enough leaving him with them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their companion watched or trained!

One of the owners treats all dogs negatively and will often isolate the dog from all to give himself his own peace of mind. The claim that my dog is volatile when other dogs enter or exit is only made by this one. The same person who alters the harness, collar, etc to suit is needs thus causing problems for the afternoon team when picking up my dog. In addition, the ear drops left for the facility to use were not used on my dog but twice over the course of a year so the large bottle should have been at least 50% full not near empty. Lastly, when one of the AM staff damaged my dog's collar, I was told I would have a new collar by the end of the day. Not only did Chris fail to replace the collar but then claimed he had to drive to four different Petsmart looking for the collar. I told him, clearly, that the collar was purchased at the Largo Petsmart and personally feel he didn't care that I had no collar for my dog when I picked her up. The staff may be nice but are lacking a professional demeanor with the business aspects and the facility looks and smells unclean. I am so disappointed and will not recommend them. After I met with the primary contact/owner, Armando, who lead me to believe he cared about my dog and was willing to make changes with staff insomuch as ensuring things would run better, I decided to give Rompin Rovers the benefit and allow my dog to return to finish her last 13 days of the 20 day pass. I had no intention of revising this review until I saw and felt changes. When I stopped by on 4/13 to ensure Armando was a man of his word, I learned that if I didn't revise this review my dog was no longer able to attend day care. I am still waiting for my refund and must report that I will never use this dog day care again. The primary owner is often away from the day care. Rarely does anyone answer the phone and often when customers arrive to pick up their pet, you have to wait and or go to the doors and knock as none of the staff no you are there. I have nothing but ill will for this location and have found a far better place which uses more security to protect the dogs and always has someone in the office to greet the customers and several outside at all times with the dogs. Be forewarned.If you pay, pay in cash on a daily basis or you may not get a refund if you go elsewhere and your account could be hacked as mine was proven by my bank. As of 2 May, I am still waiting for a refund. I will probably have to travel back to the location to question where the refund is as the day care still doesn't answer the phone.
