Rogues and Rascals

I don't normally leave reviews but i'm still bothered by how bad my experience was. I went here a few years ago, based on recent reviews i'm hoping it changed. I rescued a sweet dog who had no training. She was super loving but then would often times flip her lid biting and scratching us. She was 70 pounds so it would get scary. I didn't know where to start so I signed up for their basic course hoping to start their and build a relationship with them to get more help. (In hindsight I should have asked for specific behavioral training.) I attended many classes and practiced what they taught us. I tried mentioning a few times some of her behavioral issues in the class and they would often play it off as a joke, like "oh she wouldn't do that" while petting her in a puppy voice. It was so bad I had to use an E collar with the beep noise/vibrate to get her to class to get her head back on and stop these outbursts. I forgot to take it off before the class started one day. In front of the whole class they shamed me for having it on and demanded I take it off right now. Often times they were more worried about their Caribou drinks arriving than watching the dogs do their skills and moving them up to the next level. It honestly was a joke. You pay up front for all the classes, so they already had your money if you attended or not. During one class a lady broke down in tears because her dog was being difficult and they offered her no support. They are great at working with animals. However, if you are going to offer a service to help people train their animals you also need to know how to work with people.
