Rocky Junior's Dog Training Service

Jeff is absolutely amazing! We have been working with him for the past couple of months and our 2 little dogs have made great improvements! Like with anything else, it’s really up to the owner on how much progress your dog will make. Jeff gives you the tools but you have to work with your dog! It is apparent that Jeff loves what he does and my dogs were at ease with him the minute he came to our house. We still have a long road ahead of us, as one of our dogs is a rescue and has major socialization issues, but I know that Jeff and Rocky Jr. will be able to help him overcome these problems. Jeff is our fourth dog trainer and we made more headway with him in a week than we did with the other 3 combined in months. I would highly recommend Jeff and Rocky Jr. to anyone with a dog.

I got a referral from my friends in Dog rescue, said this gentlemen was very good. However , I had a very different experience. He came to my home because I was having trouble with a dog that has fear aggression. I paid him his fee of 75.00. We had spoken about my being on disability, single parent stuff and then I decided I would try to do a Complete Package and it would be split into two payments. He took that check and never returned. Nine months later ..we are still conversing. I had told him he was low and thief. I told him if he wasn't going to provide the service I paid (Which was legally binded to provide when taking money from me for a service in which he had yet to provide) for he needed to refund the money back. He told me it is against his company's policy to give refunds. And then said he would give me a refund if I signed a non disclosure agreement. After 9 months of trying to get him to make good on what he had promised I told him I was not willing to sign the agreement. *Please think twice about using this person for services. He is not on the up and up and it is sad that he essentially stole from me. I will also letting all the rescues I work with to stay clear. Edit: This man will tell you anything to make his "ratings" to stay good & to not be at fault. I realize that driving to my house may have been far for you, but it was your decision to take the job in which you accepted payment for, which says, “Commitment”. If you consider doing your job to be a “sacrifice” perhaps you should look for other work. I also explained during our first meeting about the medical issues I was having and how it was affecting my beloved pet. His psychology changed when I could not be a strong alpha and had started to become very protective of me, creating fear aggression and him trying to step into the “Alpha” role. At that time I couldn't handle training on my own because I was weak, hence the reason for hiring you. I do apologize for leaving for a few minutes to go to the bathroom and get a drink of water, I’m sorry that upset you. I am also sorry for my poor attention span due to my injuries/illness. I find it poor taste that you are trying to disrepute me by alluding to my medical issues especially after discussing it at length and you still accepted the job. -And who would be against a free fence? You have to be able to qualify to get the fencing done & I had already tried. As to telling you to, “get out of my house” I don’t recall this & either does my family. Yes, you had said to do focus training but the problem was he was too focused on me. I wanted to increase his confidence because I didn’t want this new behavior to get out of control. Unfortunately I wasn’t well enough to be consistent, which was my fault while trying to recover. For that I am truly sorry because I to did a disservice to the situation. After a couple months I had reached back out you to see if we could continue the training & you told me you were busy & would get back to me with some open dates/ times. However you never called me back, emailed or texted. When I finally was able to speak with you, you said you didn’t have time but you would try to find some time. I said, ok, please let me know. More time passed & I asked to do the training I paid for or reimburse me the money I paid. I did tell you that I would post my experience & it appears you took that as a threat. As to you saying that all professional trainers have a no refund policy, which is not true. These aren't false accusations, this is my experience I had & it was extremely unfortunate. You speak of “solid business practices” but it appears you have forgotten the basics. Asking to me to sign a non-disclosure agreement after this happened was an attempt to “shut me up & damage control”. **Simply put, if you accept money to do a job, then you should do the job. Even if a jobs done poorly at least it would have been done. I appreciate the fact that you’re working hard to discredit my review & experience especially lacking integrity & ethics.

I hired Jeff & Rocky Jr at the suggestion of my Vetinarian, who is the Chief of staff at the clinic. We had several losses with the most impactful the death of his sister, my service dog of 13 years from an intense battle with cancer. My 5 year old Yellow Blackmouth Cur boy started showing signs of anxiety and depression: became inactive, less playful, constantly needing to be with me. Jeff's positive approach and care for my boy has lightened his spirits. My boy now loves to work for me, he is playing with other dogs again, and loves being around people (especially children). He absolutely adores Jeff and his new buddy Rocky Jr. In the short 9 week training my boy is a new dog enjoying life with almost all his old fears and depression gone.
