Rockin Robin Kennel & Outfitters is a family owned dog trainer, kennel, and upland guide service that is dedicated to training and hunting high quality bird dogs. Our main focus is on developing an experienced and enjoyable hunting companion, whether it be a pointing, flushing, or retriever breed that will transfer to the hunting field or duck pond. Our program has been developed and refined over 19 years of dedicated field dog training and guiding for both upland and waterfowl hunts. We take pride in producing well socialized dogs with excellent temperaments and strong natural bird finding and retrieving abilities.

I have know scott for over 15 years. I have traveled west hunting with him and observed him working with clients dogs. When I got a Wire-haired Pointing Griffon I knew who i was going to use to train him. I admit my family was not on board with sending their couch potato puppy off. All were pleasantly surprised as he returned trained and still the same pup they all loved. When I took family members hunting behind Hank they were blown away by his performance. I got exactly what i was looking for- an obedient house companion that is a close hunting dog for a foot hunter on the weekends. I was so pleased that I have a new puppy that's on his way to Scott soon! PDD

Fantastic experience with Rockin Robin. Our English Cocker Spaniel, Otto, was full of energy and had a long ways to go when we dropped him off with Scott. We received weekly updates and pictures during his training. Otto made unbelievable progress and has been a delight to bring back home. At pickup, Scott spent plenty of time teaching our family how to continue training at home. Scott has a positive demeanor and it is evident that he truly enjoys training. Highly recommend Scott and Rockin Robin.
Scott and his team are top notch! He did such a great job with my GSP that I’ve also taken my ECS to him as well. Rockin Robin should be at the top of your list for a dog trainer.

My father bought an English Setter last year in Eastern North Carolina. We struggled to find the right trainer until we came across Scott Keown and Rockin Robin. First, we had the privilege of hunting with him and getting to know his style and his dogs. We immediately recognized his calm demeanor and patient nature with the dogs. My father decided to send his English Setter to work with Scott and after only a few short months, May has come home proficient in pointing, steady to wing and shot. Scott was not only eager to show us May's progress when we arrived but also sent weekly texts and pictures to keep us in the loop. On graduation day, Scott spent considerable time with us in the field showing us how to carry on. We highly recommend using Rockin Robin Kennel and Scott to train your dog. -David Stewart
