FirstBarkRicky has taught us so much and our dog has made amazing progress. We have been to a few other classes and have gotten a lot more out of his sessions. He clearly has a ton of experience, and he has been really supportive and great to work with. Amazing trainer, highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend Roanoke dog training highly enough, he helped me turn an unneutered teenage dogo argentino into a complete gentleman. You will see results in short order, trainer Ricky Hall has an undeniable natural gift.

You can tell that Rickey really is passionate about the dogs that he trains. He cares just as much as we do to make sure we have a dog that listens. He has a special way with dogs. If I ever get another dog, I will definitely come to him again. He is excellent.
Rickey trained my Doberman and I’m so impressed with his skills. He doesn’t train tricks. He trains intelligence. After the first training there was an immediate difference. I was able to walk him without issues.

We asked Ricky to train our very active rescue pup. He has an amazing way with dogs, they know right away he is in charge and they respond almost immediately to his positive reinforcement of good behavior. He also 'trained' us very well, patiently teaching us how to mirror his lessons. We trained in multiple different places so she could learn how to behave on walks, in parks with lots of people and other dogs, etc. He was very flexible with our schedule and clearly loves the animals. I would hire him again in a minute if we have another dog that requires training; I don't think you can go wrong with him!
