Riverbend Canine Training

I didn't give him a one star.I gave him two, because I don't know what his quality of work is. I adopted a bully dog. So back in april, I reached out to brandon, and he sent me a invoice on how much it would be. I was really needing help for this bully.He was badly abused and not taking care.He wasn't a year old quite yet. So I wanted to meet with brandon before I made any decisions. So brandon said, of course, that sounds great.I told him I will head that way he said, that's great.Can't wait to meet your doy. So me and my husband went out of our way from cadiz's kentucky to hopkinsville, to meet with brandon, a person come out, ask my husband to move the car so my husband did . I had to use the restroom because we were sitting there for forty minutes already.I went around used the restroom it was part of their shop. So an hour comes around, no one reached out.I tried to text and call him but nothing. We were sitting there then decided to headed back home. Finally he called me thirty minutes down the road asked where I went, who does that it was hot outside we had no air in the car.The dog was frustrated waiting. So then a few days later, i just thought this is not very professional at all so i decide to meet brandon myself in person and ask him what happened and if he was still interested in training, my boy. He said yes, and they got really busy and that he was sorry, so I was like, this would be great.The faster I can get him training.The better off I will be.And so will my boy, he told me he would reach out to me and set it all up.Well, nothing so I see his post on facebook today, september 11,2025 and I made a comment, so guess what happens?! He decides to reach out to me today after I made the comment. Ask about my comment. And then, said I didn't have to comment on facebook. Very unprofessional, very, I am very disappointed with his manners and him being the person he says he is. They say they have a shop in clarksville, but they have one in hopkinsville, not clarksville, not sure what is going on with this. But I felt like me, and my boy was left out in the cold with no help at all but, thank god, I found the right honest trainer to help. God is good!!

Brandon took our four year old dog and literally “taught an old dog new tricks!” She had several bad habits: running out the door if given the chance, jumping on the grand kids and knocking them down, pulling your arm off of you attempted a walk, and annoying everyone at the table when anyone was eating. After the training she was a different dog. She was leash trained and could heel. You could place her in her “spot” and she stays. She stays when we sit her.

We took our 10 month old dog, Cass to Riverbend. He was a very sweet dog with a lot of energy that we needed some help with, especially around our cat. Cass's biggest problem is being terrified of new people. After a few weeks, we got Cass back. Cass got some training and we got some training on how to continue training with him. He is much much better with the cat now, and we have the tools we need to be able to help control his behavior. We and Cass are going to have a much better life together now that we have the tools to give him some structure. The training allows us to more effectively communicate with Cass. Riverbend and their trainers are truly talented and amazing people. If you think you need help with your dog, call or go see them. They really are experts and I would recommend their services to anyone.

We cannot say enough good things about Brandon and the incredible work he did with our dog, Kai. From the moment we dropped Kai off to the day we brought him home, the transformation has been nothing short of amazing. We were very particular about the trainer we went with, and Brandon was very intentional with answering every question we asked. He was also exceptional and intentional with his training. Before training, Kai was full of energy but lacked the structure and manners that made everyday life easier. Brandon worked patiently, consistently, and with so much care to bring out the best in him. Today, Kai is not only a well-mannered dog, but he is also calmer, more confident, and truly a joy to be around. In the time we’ve had Kai back he has been to family events, taken boat rides, went on long hikes, and so much more. We get compliments on his behavior all the time and could not be more proud. Thanks to Brandon, Kai has gone from a handful to an amazing companion. We are so grateful for his dedication and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate trainer who delivers real results. Brandon has continually supported us to make sure we are setting Kai up for his success. Very grateful!
