Highly recommend! Sue is passionate about helping people and their dogs. Before Sue, I could not walk my 2 year old Doberman around the block. He now walks next to me and no longer lunges at passing cars. Neighbors have even noticed the change in my dog and have complimented his behavior. Sue is very thorough. At each training session she reviews the previous session, verbally and physically walks you and your dog through the new material, and leaves you with a detailed sheet to keep for reference. Sue is available via phone for any questions that may come up in between training sessions as well as after your package of sessions is done. The training Sue provides is worth every penny!

Sue is amazing to say the least. My dog was leash aggressive and he got very wild when he saw other dogs. In a matter of weeks, this behavior was reversed and we have been doing great ever since. I learned how to communicate with my dog and that MOST of his “behavior” issues were actually because of me and my handling of him. Sue’s training goes well beyond anything experience you’ll have with a the average training company. Training was fun, consistent, and rewarding. My dog has so much respect for me now and it’s all thanks to Sue! We are going in for the next stage of training soon.

We first met Sue when we got our first dog Oliver 9 years ago. Sue came to our house for 10 weeks and helped us learn how to train him. He turned into a great dog due to Sue’s help. She stayed in constant contact with us throughout Oliver’s life and was always willing to give advice as we came across new obedience situations. Last year we brought new dog Milo home and we thought of Sue immediately. This time, with three young children at home, we knew we would not be able to dedicate as much time to training. We opted to board Milo with Sue for three months and let her train him full time. What a great decision! Sue gave us regular updates on Milo’s progress. With the weather we had this last winter, Sue wasn’t able to work outside with Milo as much as she wanted, so she asked to keep him for a few extra weeks to make sure he was fully trained! When it was time to bring Milo back home, Sue spent several hours with us helping us learn his commands and how to keep him properly trained. She’ll even board him when we go out of town and give him refresher training! Milo is not even a year old and is so well behaved that people can not believe he’s still a puppy. Thank you Sue for helping make our pup the best that he can be!

Sue was excellent, always went above and beyond. She was patient and flexible, with both our dog and us. Her knowledge and training techniques helped us over come several challenges we were having with our Great Pyrenes rescue and she showed us how critical our actions were to establishing the right relationship and leadership of our GP. Definitely worth the time and money, I highly recommend her.

Sue is an excellent teacher! As an inexperienced dog owner, I tried to train our lab to walk on leash and failed miserably - the pulling was both frustrating and painful. Sue explained her methods very clearly, then would demonstrate, then have me try. She would give gentle but clear correction. After her first visit, I was amazed at the improvement! The homework she gave was clearly explained, as well as the reasoning. We moved through the lessons and I am amazed - and so happy! - with the results of the training. We have a dog who walks beautifully on leash, listens to commands, and is so much more enjoyable to have around. Sue definitely understands dog behavior very well, and does a great job sharing her knowledge!
