I can’t speak highly enough of Tyler and Paige. We have now sent multiple pups to them for gundog/hunt test training over the past year and been very happy with the results. They are honest, great at communication, easy to get along with, their facilities are beautiful, and I never have to wonder if my dogs are being taken care of. I get regular updates of both the good and bad and never feel like my questions are stupid when I ask them. We raise golden retrievers here in Montana and have worked with a few other different pro trainers throughout the years. We have had both good and poor experiences and our experience with Tyler compared to others has been nothing short of exceptional. Not all pro gundog trainers have the touch (patience and ability to teach instead of just use pressure) to work with golden retrievers and I think it’s pretty safe to say that Tyler has that touch. He took a couple of our dogs to the Grand and Master National here in 2025 and we plan to continue sending dogs to him in the future. If you decide to send your dog to Riverbottom Dog Training, you won’t regret it.
