Riptide K9

I can't thank Jeff and Angie Riccio and staff enough for the excellent training they gave our dog Ruby. She left us as a hyper golden retriever, who we couldn't even leash walk and came home as an obedient and well trained girl. We are an older couple and we were worried about getting injured during one of her walks as she was a bundle of energy. Riptide K9 did an AMAZING job and I would highly recommend this caring team.

We had such a great experience with Riptide K-9! We just brought our dog Gator home after his on-leash training, and we’re already seeing such a difference. We actually worked with Riptide K-9 about 8 years ago with our late dog, Gunner, for both on- and off-leash training, and the results were incredible. Because of that experience, we knew without hesitation that this is where we wanted to bring Gator. Their training truly sets dogs (and their owners!) up for success. Having a well-trained dog gives you the confidence to trust them in any situation, which ultimately allows your dog to experience so much more out of life. We’re already looking forward to coming back for off-leash training. Highly recommend to anyone looking for knowledgeable, effective, and trustworthy trainers!

I cannot say enough about Riptide! Maui is my 8 month old Anatolian Shepard and we sent him in February for on leash training and I cannot believe the dog I picked up! He is so well behaved on his leash and truly understands his commands he learned at the program. Jeff, Angela and Bobbi are so patient and loving with these dogs and with their owners when they are ready for pick up. They really spend the time with the owners, nothing feels rushed or "silly" to ask. They really work hard at setting both dog and owner up for success! I also have a 3 year old Shepard mix and we boarded her during this last MAJOR storm over February vacation and got stuck in Florida. Angela was so helpful working with us and keeping us updated on how Nova was until we could get home! All in all I could not recommend Riptide more, my dogs were so well cared for and they really sent me home with such a great foundation to build on and keep up with for Maui. We will 100% be back for boarding and next up will be some OFF LEASH training!!

If I could give riptide more stars I would. We brought our 6 month old GSP, Vada, for on leash training, and will be returning for the off leash program, touch ups, boarding, etc. Bobbi, Angie, and Jeff provide excellent training, patience and determination with every dog that comes through their door and it shows when you pick your pup up! Our 6 month old pup was jumpy, nippy, and lost focus quickly, that changed after riptide. She WANTS to work and enjoys what she’s learnt. She is much more self soothed and calm, even with puppy tendencies. If you are considering riptide k9, I highly suggest you go through with it!! They love your dog like their own.
