Ridgeside K9 Tidewater

My wife and I had an incredibly positive experience. Our dog Sarge is an American Bulldog and Andrew Lowell from Ridgeside K9 did a fantastic job over the three weeks he had him. The level of progress that was made was very impressive. Mr. Lowell’s professionalism, tact, competence and patience is nothing short of outstanding. He took time to work with both my wife and I on how to continue to work with training Sarge using the training matrix he successfully implemented. Sarge has responded extremely well to the training that Mr. Lowell provided and that has carried over now that he is back home. We highly recommend Mr. Andrew Lowell from Ridgeside K9. We had such a great experience that my sister in law has scheduled her dog for training with Mr. Lowell.

I HIGHLY recommend Ridgeside-K9. My dog, a 3 year-old boxer/shiba inu mix was trained by trainer Andrew and I have nothing but good things to say about our experience. Before training, she was very reactivity just with the sight of another dog or person, especially with children, would not let anyone come up to her and she would bark/growl/be very reactive, was scared of all sudden movements and very skiddish, and would even attack our older dog we have at home. She did the 3 week board and train with trainer Andrew and we saw her progress daily through the pictures and videos he would sent me during her training sessions whether it was out in public or interacting with the other dogs in the training room. It has been a complete 180 flip with her when we got her back from training. She is such a good, well behaved dog that I no longer have to worry about her being nasty toward other people or animals. Since training, she has gone on walks with other dogs we’re friends with and has done amazing. She has been out to run errands with me in different stores or to the beach and has not had any issues with other dogs or people. She also has gone out of town with me to friends or family that have dogs and she has been able to be introduced to their dogs and has been able to be comfortable with their dogs and has been interacting with them and off leash with them in the house and has had no issues. She even will give her new doggie friends kisses after being with them for a little bit and becoming comfortable with them. She now makes sure everybody knows she’s in the room as she will make sure to go up to everyone and give them lovings and also make sure they all give her love as well. She really has become our loving, social butterfly that is a pleasure to take anywhere I go. This has been not only a pleasure to see my dogs change in behavior but has also helped my family so much by now having a good, well behaved dog that we no longer have to worry on whether or not she will be okay to take somewhere or not. Chris took my 3 month Rottweiler puppy for the puppy program and came back after two weeks a brand new, eager to learn puppy. I decided to send her because I couldn’t have an undisciplined Rottweiler in a neighborhood full of children. I chose Ridgeside K9 because they are veteran based and have many reviews with great success. It was seriously night and day. After the 2 weeks Chris brought her back and spent about 2 and a half hours teaching us how to continue her training for the months to come. My wife and I have kept up with the training regiment and are very impressed with the gains, maturity, and discipline she has initially learned. Athena goes back for her 2 week adult program soon and can’t wait to see even more gains.
