Sending my boy Karl to stay with Kellen was the best decision I could have made for my boy and myself! It was so hard taking karl out because of how nervous he gets in certain situations. It was not a good situation for me or for Karl and we would both get very frustrated. Kellen reassured me that I do have a good boy and he just needs some structure. Karl went with him for 4 weeks… I was very nervous about this part because I’ve never been away from him for that long. Kellen made sure to update me and send me pictures and videos everyday which was very comforting and made it much easier! At the go home visit Kellen did an amazing job explaining how to keep up with everything and the ins and outs of why karl would react the way he did. I now feel I’m able to understand karl more and I can take him outside with confidence. I know this is only going to bring me and my boy closer! Now going outside can be fun instead of stressful! Ridgeside K9 Tampa has been a blessing in my life! My pup trainer Kristin is personable, professional, and very knowledgeable. I sent my pup to her for a few weeks and he came back performing like a perfect little angel <3 !! Besides training, Ridgeside K9 Tampa also provides boarding at an unbeatable price with the benefit of having an actual dog trainer taking care of your pup, so the pups don't lose their training or pick up bad habits else where. Kristin saved me on a last minute need for her to take my pups. She was able to enter my home and pick up my babies and that right there was worth everything. My pups love her and I feel completely at ease when she has my little darlings. Joining Ridgeside K9 Tampa was one of the best decisions I have made for my pups. I highly recommend them.

This was our first time using any type of training services ever and we’ll never be using anyone else. The company itself was super quick to respond and the consultation was extremely thorough. We had Kristin take our boy Blu for 10 days and after we notic how attentive she was to US about updating us with pictures and videos on how he was doing, we knew he was in good hands. She picked him up AND dropped him off so we never even left the comfort of our own home the entire time. Now that he’s home, I’m still able to shoot Kristin a text with any question I have regarding his training and she’s even offered to come back out and help smooth a few of the kinks out (although I think she just partially misses Blu, which is fair). Blu goes back in a few weeks for his advanced training and we aren’t even sweating it because we know he’ll be in such good hands. I can’t recommend Ridgeside K9 and Kristin herself enough.

Kenzie was amazing with my 8 month old mini golden doodle Tami. She contacted me daily with updates during the 2 weeks of Tami’s training. Tami learnt how to walk properly on the leash and listen and respond to my commands such as heal, sit, place and free. She calmed down a lot and now behaves properly when passing another person with their dog on a walk. It’s made my life a lot easier!!! Thank you Kenzie!
